On a Beam of Light

The exhibition, through its absence of color and the resulting impression of “there’s nothing to see,” invites viewers into a more intimate encounter with the works. Does this evoke a heightened sense of curiosity or intensify the urge to observe? Or perhaps it speaks to the infinite, boundless perception created by the black-and-white palette — a sense of void, or even the psychological search that emerges in the absence of defined imagery within today’s image-saturated, consumption-driven culture.

This exhibition opens a dialogue not with the absence of color, but with a language that transforms color into “something else” — a form, a feeling, an impulse. The selection of works goes far beyond a mere monochromatic approach; instead, it brings together pieces that explore light, emptiness, boundaries, and boundlessness through both conceptual and physical inquiry.
