One Akaretler

Initiated under the patronage of Bilgili Holding, this event was conceived with the aim of supporting independent artists and fostering a space for creative expression.

Curated by Begüm Güney, the exhibition brings together 27 independent artists from a variety of disciplines, featuring nearly 140 artworks alongside 3 artist-run initiatives.

Beyond being a large-scale presentation of contemporary artistic practices, the event also carries a deeper emotional and social significance. Following two difficult years marked by the global pandemic — a time that challenged our sense of connection and togetherness — this gathering stands as a collective gesture of unity.

In coming together through art, the project not only reactivates the public’s relationship with culture, but also reflects a shared longing to reconnect, to heal, and to once again experience the transformative power of being ‘one’ through artistic dialogue.
